How to make Banana Cake 🍌 ****🍰

What you will need:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 300g)
  • 180g all-purpose flour
  • 115g unsalted butter, softened
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 120ml milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the mashed bananas and milk, mixing until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan and transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
